You Want Me to do What?
Everyday we, the teachers, are asked more and more to include technology into our everyday instruction. Is it really necessary? Are the students getting anything out of it? This article discusses effective technology integration while providing four key components of learning. How do you integrate technology in your classroom?

I am not as technologically inclined as many of my colleagues but I enjoyed reading this article and felt the need to comment.
Right now I am working with my students (and our campus IT) on creating a Plant Lapbook for Science. Once a week, we go into the computer lab and work on one part of the lapbook. This week, the class will be producing a life cycle of the plant by using a Powerpoint template. In this template, the students are to insert images and then write a sentence or two about that part of the life cycle.
So eventhough technology and I really don't mix, I still find ways of integrating what little I can into my lessons. Even if it is with the help of our campus IT and you.
